Editing is a world in and of itself. A beautiful art form where everything comes together. It’s 50% of my work and something I carefully do. It’s as if editing becomes this gorgeous embroidery where the memories can be kept safe, always accessible—a timeless space.
I spend hours and hours editing, checking skin tones, and adding the right tones to the photographs that will help tell the story in the most authentic and beautiful way with a brush of romanticism and elegance that will make them timeless.
Postproduction, or editing is where the storytelling part of your story comes together and you feel the power of ever-lasting moments that are fleeting to the eye, but frozen in time for you to hold on to forever.
The craftsmanship of your story continues in this part to make the beginning, middle and the end as powerful as it felt in real life.
Everything will flow together, and every scene will pull you in a fascinating way so you can relive the experience as much as you want to.
I believe life is all about experiences and only having what’s most meaningful to you, and what could be more precious for your home than to have an album where the story of you is spread out in every page with photos of you getting ready and your mom touching your arm, or when you looked at the vows, your friends clapping the first moment where you kiss for the first time as a married couple? What about that moment we sneaked out to go take photos under the moonlight, and you completely forgot everything else but each other?
An album is that gorgeous book that has some of your most beautiful moments. A book you can grabbed anytime you’re in your living room with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine to reminisce and go back in time. It’s a reminder of why life is worth living, and how many of your dreams have already come true.
If you come to my place, you will find my favorite antique camera displayed on top of my bookshelf. It was a gift from my dad and he bought it for me in Mexico, every time I look at it, I smiled and feel the appreciation I have for it. My favorite and most meaningful photos decorating the blank walls, and my plants displayed like jewels creating a cozy and more colorful space to all my books.
Beauty is necessary and needed, so display what you love the most.
