What exactly is a portrait photography session? It’s a compilation of photographs of a person or group of people where the photographer works out a concept, outfit, location, and an idea to portray the personality of the subject being photograph.

You definitely need to trust and like their style. Just like any other artist, much of themselves will be in the final work, which is what makes each photographer unique. That’s why when you’re hiring a photographer, you’re usually not only attracted by the most technical elements of a portrait session, but mainly in the artistry they bring to their sessions and final work.
