All in "Hartwood Mansion Engagement"
Winters can be long and tiring but if you do things that complement it they can be as fun as you make them, which is what we did in this gorgeous engagement session where Shannon & Jake played in the snow, danced, and ran around enjoying the moment.
As I said before, each season is very special and the fact that we have all four seasons in Pittsburgh is amazing! Winter couples' sessions are underrated, and I know many like to stay cozy in their homes drinking hot chocolate while reading a book—which is totally fine, and we can capture that in a session, but going outside and playing in this winter wonderland we’ve had in Pittsburgh lately will take your session to a whole new level.
One of my favorite times for photos is during golden hour, and whenever I have more flexibility and power over scheduling couples, I take advantage of this time, which is exactly what I did for Carrie & Ryan's maternity session!
The session was brief, but we took advantage of the many magical spots you can find at Hartwood Park. One of my favorites of this afternoon was a spot in the woods where the sun was filtering through, bringing out those golden tones we love so much.
Leanne & Dan were suppose to get married on Oct. 2020, but thanks to COVID they had to re-schedule their wedding until next year, but that didn't stop them from celebrating their love. We did their engagement session at North Park and Hartwood Mansion.
